Åsmund Gradient

We weave our cushions in Røros from Norwegian lambswool, with colour and pattern constructed directly through the weave, giving the textile a defined woven surface. Each cushion is supplied with an inner cushion made in Norway and filled with duck down and feathers.

 

Åsmund Gradient is designed by Kristine Five Melvær. Drawing on textile art and woven tapestries, the design uses gradual transitions of colour rather than fixed blocks. Tones move across the woven surface and shift in relation to one another, giving the pattern a changing expression as the light changes.
