Isak

We weave our cushions in Røros from Norwegian lambswool, with colour and pattern constructed directly through the weave, giving the textile a defined woven surface.
Each cushion is supplied with an inner cushion made in Norway and filled with duck down and feathers.

 

Isak is designed by Anderssen & Voll. The series began in 2016 following a research project at Hancock Shaker Village in Massachusetts. The Shaker approach to making, based on economy, clarity and purposeful construction, informed the designers' thinking. That restraint is carried into Isak through a pattern that relies on order rather than decoration.
