Juli

This lightweight-wool throw is crafted from Norwegian lambswool, and has repeated structures woven directly into the fabric. This creates a surface where texture, pattern and colour are part of the construction itself. The weave has a quiet, tactile character, with its detail becoming clearer at close range and through touch. Each throw is woven and finished in Røros.

 

Juli is designed by Anderssen & Voll and takes its cue from embroidery. Coloured lines pass through a light ground in a way that recalls loose stitches moving across fabric. Translating that reference into a woven construction gives the surface an informal rhythm while keeping the structure of the textile clearly visible.
