Syndin

We weave our cushions in Røros from Norwegian lambswool, with colour and pattern constructed directly through the weave, giving the textile a defined woven surface.

Each cushion is supplied with an inner cushion made in Norway and filled with duck down and feathers.

 

Syndin is designed by Kristine Five Melvær. The series combines clear geometric forms with a colour palette drawn from the mountain landscape around Syndin in Norway. The landscape reference is carried through colour rather than illustration, allowing the geometry and woven construction to remain at the centre of the textile.
