Vega

This lightweight-wool throw is crafted from Norwegian lambswool, and has repeated structures woven directly into the fabric. This creates a surface where texture, pattern and colour are part of the construction itself. The weave has a quiet, tactile character, with its detail becoming clearer at close range and through touch. Each throw is woven and finished in Røros.

 

Vega is designed by Anderssen & Voll. Built around a basket-weave structure and solid colour, the design uses the construction of the textile to create an open, dimensional surface. With little graphic decoration, the expression comes primarily from the wool, the rhythm of the weave and the way light falls across its texture.
